Well, well. SSC stands for Shelby SuperCars and TT stands for Twin
Turbo. But that’s not the most interesting piece of trivia on this car.
The Guiness Book of Records tested and recognized this car as the Queen
of Queens, throning threshold of speeds never before reached: 257 mph+,
0-60 in 2.7 seconds, with Horsepower of 1183. Surprisingly, it costs

The GT-R is a successful attempt to create a Ferrari rival with a Porsche price tag. Its turbo V-6 is stunning, the grip ridiculous, and its performance numbers are a match for cars that cost twice as much. It can feel a bit massive, but it’s a supercar, and a surprisingly affordable one at that.

2009 Nissan V2G Concept Design

Press Release) In the years leading up to 2030, the electrification of
the nation's highways leads to the creation of a new ultra-efficient,
high speed network called the 'GRID'.

Nissan's 'ON-GRID' compliant vehicle for the year 2030 is the V2G
(Vehicle–to-Grid). Wildly popular with consumers thanks to its low
cost, dynamic styling and quality construction, the V2G is the best
selling electric vehicle of its time. Nissan's comprehensive and
affordable range of GRID access plans (similar to mobile phone plans)
have also helped to make V2G the market leader.

In the spirit of LA's legendary automotive counter-culture,
creative young minds see untapped potential in the V2G. Taking
advantage of the simple and user friendly EV architecture, they quickly
hack the V2G, take it 'OFF-GRID' and begin to explore the virtually
endless opportunities of this newly created vehicle segment.

Audi A7 Sportback Coming 2010

The Original drop date for the new Audi A7 Sportback came and past its June 2009 deadline, Germans from Audi have decided that 2010 would be a much better year and delayed the new A7 Sportback release date. Rumored to hit the showroom floors at the end of 2010, the car will share some design elements with the new A5 Sportback but is obviously positioned higher than that.

Hyundai Nuvis

Make Hyundai Model Nuvis Concept year 2009 Production year - Engine hybrid
The Hyundai Nuvis concept was one of the vehicles displayed at the 2009
New York Motor Show. The Nuvis was designed at Hyundai's American
design center in Irvine, California and is intended to preview a
possible future design direction for the next-generation of crossover
vehicles from the manufacturer.

The
exterior styling of the Nuvis was partially inspired by the way water
moves and flows around the hull and sides of a boat, creating a wake,
and the way wind shapes a snowdrift or sandune.

"Our
goal was to create a living machine, constantly moving, that the driver
and passengers could be part of," said John Krsteski, Hyundai Design manager. "There are no lines on or in this car that are standing still." The
bold face of the Nuvis concept is dominated by the large central grille
and elongated diamond-shaped headlights.

"One
of the coolest attributes of Nuvis is that the protective roof appears
to float on top of the body through the use of hidden pillars and
high-contrast glass," said Andre Hudson, Hyundai senior designer. "This
effect starts at the headlamps and is carried all the way through to
the taillights producing a tall, strong body-side and rear."

Perhaps the most striking and unusual design feature of the Hyundai
Nuvis are the massive gullwing doors which, when open, provide a
completley unobstructed view of the interior.

In keeping with the exterior design theme, the interior of the Nuvis is
dominated by a striking blue acrylic center stack that ebbs and surges
like a river. The four sculptured, comfortable seats are custom woven
with a graduated fabric that is formed from 100% recyled plastic drinks
bottles. A futuristic infotainment system is fed by outside sources –
the occupants, for example, can learn of a restaurant's specials that
evening as they drive past it.

Powering
the Hyundai Nuvis concept is a hybrid drivetrain which consists of a
fuel effcient 2.4 litre engine and a 30kW (205 Nm) electric motor.

The Best Motorcycle Sidecar

If you're going to ride in a sidecar why not make it a really
cool sidecar? I bet that's what Francois Knorreck said to himself when
he started working on this unique motorcycle-car, 10 years ago. That's
right it took him 10 years and $20,000 to complete this masterpiece he
calls the Snaefell. He used a Laverda motorcycle and put together the
car using whatever parts he got his hands on. Great effort, this crazy
project is right up there with the 1967 Mustang Trike.
